What can a caregiver help me with at home?
Our non-medical caregivers can provide assistance with personal routines, companionship, meal preparation, light housekeeping, errands and transportation according to the approved care arrangement.
Can my family still help with my care?
Yes. Professional home care can work alongside the support already provided by family members and can give families additional help with everyday routines.
How many hours of care will the VA authorize?
The VA determines the amount and type of authorized care based on the Veteran’s individual needs and applicable program requirements.
